Sara Singha is originally from Karachi, Pakistan and is a scholar of Comparative Religion and Politics. She received her PhD from Georgetown University and a MTS from Emory University where she focused on the challenges between religious freedom (s) and US constitutional law.
Sara’s research focuses on marginalized and persecuted groups in the Global South. She writes extensively on discriminated and impoverished communities in India and Pakistan and teaches courses on postcolonial theory, Islam and modernity, and social empowerment.
